At the Shape Center, children are introduced to basic geometric shapes and principles, thus laying the foundation for later mathematical skills. Children begin with an introduction to the basic shapes. They can then draw the connection between symbols, shapes and letters. In the more advanced activities, identifying shapes and basic geometric principles by name will be covered.
